Snow gardens

The Narnia lamps in Malvern

Information board in Rose Bank Gardens, Great Malvern
Last night I took a picture of some of the gas lamps that line the main roads around Malvern. With the snow falling and the trees it was truely beautiful.

Today I went to have a look around Rose Bank Gardens in Great Malvern, (just next to Mount Pleasant Hotel, Belle Vue Terrace). The history of the gardens and the house that had stood there is explained on the information board.

Everywhere you go in Malvern has spectacular views. You get wonderfully different views of things, because of the slope of the hill. For instance the Abbey can again be spotted from the Rose Bank Gardens, through the trees.

The gardens are set out in sort of different rooms, with lawns, meandering paths and flower beds. In spring there should be a spectacular display as there are large beds of spring bulbs and many rhododendron bushes.
