Malvern Wells, Peachfield Common

As you leave Great Malvern and head towards Malvern Wells, to your left you find Peachfield Common. The common is home to Elgar's bench, which commemorates the life of the local composer, Edward Elgar, (1857-1934) whose music was so often inspired by the local countryside. The common is very popular with families and dog walkers, as it is not so steep. The large open area is ideal for picnics and kite flying and has an area set aside for football.
