Easter poem

To celebrate this Easter I have written a poem.

Easter (the real meaning in 2013).

Eating chocolate and watching tv.
Staying inside, warm and snuggly.
Easter Sunday,
What a fun day,
For anyone hungry or quite lazy.

 It is threatening to snow again, and the wind is bitter. It is also bright and clear. A very sharp day, biting cold, but the light is so clean.

Down in Priory Park, behind the Malvern Theatre the crocus Trefoil, planted by Guides/Brownies and Rainbows to mark the centenary of Girlguiding in the UK is flowering for it's fourth year.

Another bright treat for the eyes is the two Camellia bushes flowering in the park. They are rather early and if the cold snap really bites the blooms will brown and burn, but today they are incredible. The blooms are perfect, as the detail picture shows.

The banked lawn around the Registry Office is also at it's best, covered in snowdrops and crocus as it is.

And as usual the duck pond is full of quacking hungry ducks, though it is a little early for ducklings yet.
